We Went

We went “thrifting” on June 1’st. With the support of the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation (they provided the bus) the volunteers of Community Care’s Thrift Shop visited other such shops in Wellington, Trenton and Belleville.

A scrumptious lunch was enjoyed by all – at Tim Hortons of course! With purchases in hand, and lots of great ideas gleaned from the other shops, the weary volunteers returned to Picton in the late afternoon. Stop in at Community Care’s Thrift Shop at 281 Main Street in Picton and see all the great things available. 100% of the funds raised support Prince Edward County seniors to live at home.
