Cookin' for 25 Years

The volunteers are really cookin' now. Always working hard, committed to the goal of helping seniors to stay living at home, Prince Edward Community Care's volunteers put their pens to paper and provided their most loved recipes for a cook book to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the agency. To mark this grand and memorable occasion, Community Care for Seniors is launching its first cook book. This cook book is a delight to all who read it and a real frolic for all who venture to try the recipes. Many of the recipes are handed down through families. Some of them are newly created and all are truly unique in their composition. The recipes were submitted by volunteers, many of whom are descendants from various European and Caribbean countries. The result is a flavourful blend of culture and cuisine.
